Gaumata Baby Rescued – Critical Dog Attack, Sector 159 Noida
On 30th March 2020, GauNandiSewa rescued a little Gaumata baby from Sector 159, Noida with a deep stomach wound from a street dog attack, infection already spread across her body, and unable to stand or sit properly.
A Life Worth More Than Any Offering
Godaan — the gifting of a cow — is considered among the most meritorious acts a person can perform in this tradition, significant enough to be spoken of even in the context of life's final journey. It says something about how highly a cow's life is meant to be valued. On 30th March 2020, GauNandiSewa received a request from Sector 159, Noida about a little Gaumata baby whose life was, by contrast, nearly lost entirely — a deep stomach wound from a street dog attack, infection already spread across her whole body, too weak even to stand or sit properly on her own.
A Critical Rescue
Dr. Naresh Sharma ji's Kamdhenu ambulance reached her and brought her home for treatment and care. With infection already systemic and her too weak to move on her own, this was as urgent a case as they come — every hour mattered in stabilizing her before treatment for the underlying wound could even properly begin.
Standing on Her Own Again
She recovered under GauNandiSewa's sustained care, eventually strong enough to stand and sit on her own once more. Godaan speaks of the value in giving a cow away; this was the far harder work of simply refusing to let one be taken from the world at all.
