Gaumata Baby Fever Rescue – Sector 54 Noida, Lockdown 2020

In April 2020, during the Corona lockdown, GauNandiSewa rescued a Gaumata baby suffering from high fever in Sector 54, Noida, continuing our work even as the rest of the world stood still.

Seva Doesn't Pause for a Lockdown

Gau Seva — service to the cow — is considered one of the highest forms of dharma in this tradition, precisely because it asks for nothing in return. In April 2020, with the country under lockdown and most of daily life frozen in place, that teaching was tested in the plainest way possible: a Gaumata baby in Sector 54, Noida still needed help, lockdown or not, and someone still had to come.

Responding When Everything Else Had Stopped

GauNandiSewa's animal rescue ambulance reached her in Sector 54 despite the restrictions of that period, bringing her in for treatment of a high fever that would only have worsened if left untreated during a nationwide shutdown.

Recovered, Even Then

She recovered fully under GauNandiSewa's care. Seva, by definition, doesn't wait for convenient circumstances — and in the middle of one of the hardest years in recent memory, that's exactly the standard our team held to.
