Gaumata Fever Rescue – Sector 100 Noida, June 2021
On 17th June 2021, GauNandiSewa rescued a Gaumata suffering from high fever in Sector 100, Noida — a second such case from the same sector, a year after the first.
A Duty That Doesn't End With One Rescue
Govardhan Puja is, at its heart, a communal tradition — a reminder that honoring cattle isn't a single act of devotion but something a community owes them again and again, indefinitely. Sector 100, Noida had already taught GauNandiSewa that lesson once before; on 17th June 2021, it did so a second time, when another Gaumata in the same locality was found suffering from high fever.
Responding Again, Without Hesitation
GauNandiSewa's animal rescue ambulance returned to Sector 100 and brought her in for treatment. Every case gets the same urgency regardless of how many times a team has already answered a call from the same streets — her fever needed managing quickly, just as the last one had.
Recovered, As Before
She recovered fully under GauNandiSewa's care. If honoring these animals is a duty owed continuously, not just once, then this is what that duty actually looks like in practice — showing up again, in the same place, for as long as it takes.
