Mahadev Nandi Rescued – Horn Stabbing Injury, Sector 45 Noida
On 5th March 2023, GauNandiSewa rescued a Mahadev Nandi from Sector 45, Noida after he was stabbed in the face by another animal's horn.
Aghnya, Even Among His Own
The Rigveda's word for the cow — Aghnya, one who must not be harmed — makes no exception for who causes the harm. On 5th March 2023, GauNandiSewa received a request from Sector 45, Noida about a Mahadev Nandi who had been stabbed in the face by another animal's horn, a violent injury that needed urgent attention regardless of how it happened.
Treating a Wound to the Face
GauNandiSewa's animal rescue ambulance reached Sector 45 and brought him in for treatment. A horn-stabbing injury to the face carries real risk of deeper damage, so careful examination came first, followed by thorough wound cleaning and close monitoring for infection in an area with limited room for error.
Healed, Face and All
He recovered fully under GauNandiSewa's care. Harm doesn't need a human hand behind it to demand the same response — care owed simply because he was hurt, whatever the cause.
