Nandi Baba Rescued – Legs Cut by Humans, Alvardipur, Greater Noida
On 19th May 2020, GauNandiSewa rescued a Nandi baba from Alvardipur, Mohd. Tayab Husain Colony, Greater Noida, both legs deliberately cut by humans and one leg fractured.
A Storm of Human Cruelty
When Indra unleashed a storm meant to punish the people of Vrindavan, Krishna lifted Govardhan Hill and held it aloft for seven days, shielding every cow and villager beneath it from a force determined to hurt them. The scale of what he protected them from feels distant from most modern cases — until one like this arrives. On 19th May 2020, GauNandiSewa received a call from Alvardipur, in Mohd. Tayab Husain Colony, Greater Noida, about a Nandi baba whose legs had both been deliberately cut by humans, one of them left fractured — a cruelty as calculated and merciless as any storm.
Getting Him Out
GauNandiSewa's animal rescue ambulance reached Alvardipur and brought him in for emergency treatment. Injuries this severe and deliberate — both legs cut, one fractured — required careful stabilization first, then the long process of treating wounds inflicted with clear intent to harm.
Sheltered, at Last
He recovered under GauNandiSewa's sustained care. There was no mountain for GauNandiSewa to lift over him that day, only a hospital bed and a team determined not to let the people who hurt him be the last word on what happened to him.
