Sector 45, Just Before Midnight

On 11th September 2022, GauNandiSewa received a request from Sector 45, Noida, to save Mahadev Nandi baba, who was suffering from deadly lumpy skin virus disease. The call came in at 11 PM — one more reminder that this virus, and the suffering it causes, doesn't keep to daylight hours.

Found and Rescued by Kamdhenu Ambulance

Our team reached the location and rescued Mahadev Nandi baba with the assistance of Dr. Naresh Sharma ji and the Kamdhenu Ambulance team, bringing him home for treatment and dedicated care.

Help Given Without Conditions

Shaiva tradition, drawing on the Shiv Purana, remembers Shiva as Bholenath — the innocent one, who grants his blessing to anyone who calls on him, without demanding proof or ceremony first. It's a fitting spirit for a rescue team that doesn't ask what time it is, or how far the road runs, before answering a call for help.

"I am equally disposed to all living beings; I am neither inimical nor partial to anyone." (Bhagavad Gita 9.29) Whether it's the first case of the week or the fifth in Sector 45 alone, Mahadev Nandi baba was met with exactly the same urgency as every other rescue.
