A Wound Beyond What Ordinary Care Could Fix

Dhanvantari, the divine physician and an avatar of Vishnu, is worshipped as the source of all healing in this tradition — invoked whenever an injury goes beyond what ordinary care can mend. On 17th March 2022, GauNandiSewa received a request from Khora village, Ghaziabad that demanded exactly that level of urgency: a Mahadev Nandi baba struck in a hit-and-run accident, his leg fractured so severely that bone was visibly exposed, and bleeding that would not stop on its own.

Racing Against the Bleeding

Dr. Naresh Sharma ji's Kamdhenu ambulance reached him in Khora village and brought him home for treatment and care. Nonstop bleeding from an open fracture is a genuine emergency — controlling it took priority before anything else could be addressed, every minute mattering as much as the injury itself.

Setting the Bone

Once stabilized, a window plaster cast was applied over the fractured leg, immobilizing the bone so it could begin to heal properly in place — a careful, deliberate process for an injury this severe.

A Second Injury, Found Days Later

Just when treatment seemed to be progressing, spine injuries were discovered a few days into his care — damage that had likely gone unnoticed until the initial crisis was under control. Like Dhanvantari's healing, real recovery here wasn't a single act but an ongoing one, adjusting to what the body revealed only once it had the safety to be properly examined.
