Mahadev Nandi Rescued – Hit & Run, Phase 2 Sector 80 Noida
On 18th July 2021, at 2 AM, GauNandiSewa received an emergency call from Phase 2, Sector 80, Noida for a Mahadev Nandi struck in a hit-and-run — spine injuries were later found during treatment.
Born in Darkness, Carried to Safety
Krishna himself was born at midnight, and it was in that same darkness that his father Vasudeva carried him across the flooding Yamuna, storm overhead, to keep him safe from a threat that could not be allowed to reach him. There is something of that same urgency in a 2 AM emergency call. On 18th July 2021, GauNandiSewa received exactly that kind of call from Phase 2, Sector 80, Noida — a Mahadev Nandi struck in a hit-and-run accident, alone in the dark with no one else to carry him to safety.
Two Hours to Reach Him
Dr. Naresh Sharma ji's Kamdhenu ambulance reached the location at 4 AM and rescued him, bringing him home for treatment and care. Every hour between the call and arrival is an hour an injured animal spends exposed and in pain — our team moved as quickly as the night and distance allowed to close that gap.
A Second Injury Uncovered
During treatment, spine injuries were also found — damage the initial rescue hadn't revealed, discovered only once he was safe enough to be properly examined. Like Vasudeva's crossing, getting him to safety was only the first part of the journey; what came after mattered just as much.
