Most animal charities ask you to trust them on faith. We'd rather earn it — by showing you exactly what we do, what it costs us, and where we still fall short.

How we started, and why
GauNandiSewa began in 2018 as nothing more than Kapil and his mother feeding hungry Gaumata on the streets of Noida. Then came Orange, a Nandi who needed real medical help — and around the same time, another cow died at a facility that simply didn't have the care to save her. That loss is the reason this hospital exists. Kapil and Arjun built GauNandiSewa so that no animal in Noida or Delhi NCR would go without care again because none was available in time.
That's not a polished founding story. It's a hospital built out of grief, by two people who didn't want to watch it happen twice.
What we've actually done since
Since 2018, we've treated over 15,000 cows and Nandi babas, with over 1,200 currently cared for at our shelter — acid attacks, hit-and-run injuries, lumpy skin disease, fractured legs, and more — across Noida and Delhi NCR, free of cost, backed by 24/7 ambulance and ICU response. Every case is logged: date, location, what happened, how we responded, and what treatment followed. Many have rescue footage on our YouTube channel, not just a photo taken after the fact. We document this thoroughly because "trust us" isn't good enough on its own — you should be able to check.
Where we struggle, honestly
We won't pretend this work is easy or that every case ends well. Some animals arrive too late, or too badly injured, and we lose them despite everything we try. Recovery from injuries like acid burns or fractures is slow — weeks of daily wound care, not a single treatment — and it strains our resources every time. Funding is a constant, ongoing pressure: medical supplies, ambulance and ICU response, feed, and staff time for over 1,200 animals currently in our care who will never generate income or "usefulness" in return. We rely almost entirely on donations to keep the hospital running, and some months are harder than others.
We're telling you this because a charity that only shows success stories isn't being fully honest with you, and we want you to give knowing the real picture, not a curated one.
Registered, verified, accountable
GauNandiSewa is a Registered Charitable Trust under the Indian Trust Act, Reg. No. 968/2020, PAN AADTG6953D. Donations qualify for tax exemption under Section 80(G) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (Document Identification No. AADTG6953DF2021001, dated 06/10/2021). This is public record, not a claim we're asking you to take at face value.
Rooted in Seva
As an animal hospital and gaushala operating in the spirit of Mahadev and Krishna, this work is Seva — service without expecting anything back. But Seva without accountability is just a slogan. That's why every case is documented, every rupee is needed for something specific, and our doors, our records, and our hospital in Sector 62, Noida are open to anyone who wants to see for themselves.
Where to verify us yourself
Check our Registered Trust details, read our Google reviews, watch our rescue footage on YouTube, or visit our hospital at C-57 Ramlila Ground, Sector 62, Noida. We'd rather you verify than simply believe us.
