A Mother in Distress

Kamadhenu, the wish-fulfilling cow of legend, is said to grant abundance to anyone who cares for her kind. In May 2020, GauNandiSewa was reminded that this care runs both ways — a Gaumata in Sector 100, Noida was found burning with high fever, weak and unable to graze or move normally, entirely dependent on someone noticing her condition before it worsened.

Bringing Her to Safety

GauNandiSewa's animal rescue ambulance reached Sector 100 and brought her in for treatment. A high fever in cattle can point to any number of underlying infections, so our team worked to bring her temperature down while identifying and treating the cause beneath it.

Nursed Back to Health

With sustained care, she recovered fully at GauNandiSewa's hospital. It's a quieter kind of rescue than a dramatic accident, but no less vital — a mother figure, restored to health, simply because someone chose to notice her suffering.
