Gaumata Healed of Lumpy Skin Disease in Sector 77, Noida

In September 2022, a Gaumata suffering from Lumpy Skin Disease was rescued from Sector 77, Noida, and nursed back to full health in our ICU ward.

Found Suffering in Sector 77

On 22nd September 2022, GauNandiSewa learned of a Gaumata in Sector 77, Noida, battling Lumpy Skin Disease. The raised, painful nodules covering her skin and the fever that came with them left her weak — and in urgent need of the kind of care she couldn't find on her own.

A Careful Journey to the Hospital

She was brought safely to GauNandiSewa Hospital and placed under continuous care in our special advanced ICU ward for lumpy-affected cows, where our medical team could give her the sustained attention her condition demanded.

No Being Left Behind

There's a line in the Bhagavad Gita about impartial care — the idea that true compassion draws no line between who deserves it and who doesn't:

समोऽहं सर्वभूतेषु न मे द्वेष्योऽस्ति न प्रियः

samo 'haṁ sarva-bhūteṣhu na me dveṣhyo 'sti na priyaḥ

"I am equally disposed to all living beings; I am neither inimical nor partial to anyone." (Bhagavad Gita 9.29) A Gaumata found suffering in a Noida sector was never going to be turned away or treated as less urgent than any other case — that impartial devotion is what carried her through her recovery.

Healed, Healthy, and Happy

Today, she is healed, healthy, and happy. The disease that once left her weak and in pain is gone, and the sustained care of our ICU ward — made possible by everyone who supports GauNandiSewa's work — gave her back the life she deserved.
