Little Baby Cow Rescued with Lumpy Skin Disease, Sector 150 Noida
On 23rd August 2026, a little baby cow with Lumpy Skin Disease was rescued from Sector 150, Noida, by GauNandiSewa Ambulance and now heals in our ICU ward.
A Third Rescue Call, One Same Day
On 23rd August 2026, GauNandiSewa received a call about a little baby cow in Sector 150, Noida, showing the raised, painful nodules of Lumpy Skin Disease. She was tiny, still finding her footing in the world, and the disease had already begun to weigh on her small body. There was no time to lose.
Rescued by Our Own Ambulance Team
She was rescued by GauNandiSewa's animal rescue ambulance and brought straight to our hospital, where she was admitted into our special advanced ICU ward built specifically for lumpy-affected cows. There, our medical team began the careful, patient work of nursing her back to health.
Under the Care of the Lord of Physicians
The Shiv Purana honors Shiva in the form of Vaidyanath — the lord of physicians, the healer who tends to the suffering of all beings. It is a fitting image for a small ICU ward where a baby cow's fever and wounds are met, day after day, with exactly that same patient healing.
अहिंसा सत्यमक्रोधस्त्यागः शान्तिरपैशुनम् । दया भूतेष्वलोलुप्त्वं मार्दवं ह्रीरचापलम् ॥
ahiṁsā satyam akrodhas tyāgaḥ śhāntir apaiśhunam, dayā bhūteṣhv aloluptvaṁ mārdavaṁ hrīr achāpalam
"Non-violence, truthfulness, freedom from anger, compassion toward all living beings, gentleness — these are the marks of one born to a divine nature." (Bhagavad Gita 16.2-3) A little baby cow, frightened and unwell, is exactly who that compassion is for.
Getting Stronger Every Day
She now heals in our lumpy-care ICU ward, watched closely as her treatment continues. Each day brings this little one one step closer to leaving the disease behind for good.
