Baby Cow Rescued with Lumpy Skin Disease from Sector 160, Noida

On 22nd August 2026, GauNandiSewa received word of a baby cow in Sector 160, Noida, suffering from Lumpy Skin Disease. Still young and vulnerable, she was carrying a virus that spares no mercy for a body still growing — and she needed help fast.

A Disease That Doesn't Wait

Lumpy Skin Disease spreads through biting insects and leaves cattle with firm, raised nodules across the skin, along with fever and weakness that hit a young calf especially hard. Left untreated, it can spiral quickly — which is exactly why every hour mattered for this little one.

Brought to Safety by Kamdhenu Ambulance

She was rescued and brought safely to GauNandiSewa Hospital by Dr. Naresh Sharma ji and the Kamdhenu Ambulance team, who ensured she reached us without further harm. She was admitted straight into our special advanced ICU ward built specifically for lumpy-affected cows, where round-the-clock monitoring could finally begin.

She remains under continuous care in our ICU ward as her treatment continues. Every day in that ward brings her one step closer to shedding this disease for good.
