Our Struggle

On 12th June 2026, GauNandiSewa received the report and sent our animal rescue ambulance to Chajarsi Colony. Moving an animal with a leg injury is not simple — every lift, every step onto the ambulance risks worsening the damage if it isn't done carefully. Our team worked slowly and deliberately to get him in without adding to his pain, then began the harder part: the days of rest, immobilization, and monitoring that a leg injury demands, with no guarantee yet of how fully he'll recover. This is the part of our work that costs the most and is seen the least — the daily grind of nursing an injury that has no quick fix.

Signs of Hope

He is resting now, safe, fed, and out of the open street where the injury happened. That alone is progress from where he was. Every day he tolerates treatment a little better, every day the swelling is checked and managed, is a day closer to putting weight on that leg again.
