His Pain

1 AM on NH24 — one of the busiest, fastest highways in the region — and a Mahadev Nandi lay struck on the roadside. High-speed traffic makes every second after an accident like this more dangerous, and the vehicle responsible never stopped to find out what it had done.

Our Struggle

GauNandiSewa's animal rescue ambulance reached NH24 in the middle of the night, navigating highway traffic to safely recover an injured animal from the roadside — a rescue that demanded speed and extreme caution in equal measure. Back at the hospital, treatment began immediately, with no certainty yet of how the story would end.

Hope Realized

He healed. Treatment is complete, and Mahadev Nandi has made a full recovery. What began as a 1 AM emergency on a highway ended in one of the outcomes GauNandiSewa works every day to make possible.
