In Hindu tradition, Gaumata is not just an animal — she is mother, she is sacred, she carries within her the presence of the divine. So when a call came in at 7 am on 19th September 2021 from Sector 18, Noida, about a little orphaned Gaumata baby struck in a hit-and-run accident, GauNandiSewa treated it as nothing less than a call to Seva.

She had serious leg injuries with nerve damage and was heavily bleeding — alone, orphaned, with no one to call her own. On arrival, treatment began immediately to stop the bleeding, followed by suturing over her leg wounds to close them and support faster healing.
