Gaumata Baby Rescued – Spine & Shoulder Injury, Mayur Vihar Phase 2 Delhi
On 17th April 2023, GauNandiSewa rescued a bleeding Gaumata baby from a hit-and-run in Mayur Vihar Phase 2, Delhi, suffering a spine injury and a dislocated shoulder. She remains under treatment.
Two Injuries, One Small Body
Charaka, the ancient physician whose teachings gave rise to the Charaka Samhita, understood that the body rarely fails in just one place — that real healing means treating the whole system, not one wound in isolation. That understanding was put to the test on 17th April 2023, when GauNandiSewa rescued a bleeding Gaumata baby from a hit-and-run accident in Mayur Vihar Phase 2, Delhi, left with both a spine injury and a dislocated shoulder from the same impact.
Treating More Than One Wound at Once
GauNandiSewa's animal rescue ambulance reached her and brought her in for treatment. A dislocated shoulder alongside a spine injury means two separate sources of pain and instability at the same time — the kind of case that calls for exactly the whole-body approach Charaka's tradition was built around.
Now Under Treatment
She remains under treatment at GauNandiSewa's hospital as the team works through both injuries together. Two wounds from one moment of someone else's carelessness — and now, one sustained effort to see her fully through both of them.
