Gaumata Recovers from Lumpy Skin Virus, Sector 11 Noida

On 16th September 2022, GauNandiSewa received a request from Sector 11, Noida, to save a Gaumata suffering from deadly lumpy skin virus disease. Her skin bore the raised, painful nodules of the virus, and the community that reached out to us knew she needed help fast.

The Bhagavad Gita speaks of the true yogi who sees the divine equally present in every living being, no creature more or less worthy of that vision than another:

सर्वभूतस्थमात्मानं सर्वभूतानि चात्मनि । ईक्षते योगयुक्तात्मा सर्वत्र समदर्शनः ॥

sarva-bhūta-stham ātmānaṁ sarva-bhūtāni chātmani īkṣhate yoga-yuktātmā sarvatra sama-darśhanaḥ

"The true yogis see with equal eye all living beings in God and God in all living beings." (Bhagavad Gita 6.29) That same steady vision guided days of return visits to a roadside in Sector 11, for a Gaumata most people would have simply passed by.
