In 2018, driven by a profound respect for gaumata and Nandi baba, Kapil and Arjun founded GauNandiSewa in Noida. Seeing injured sick cows and Nandi lying idle in the road without help spurred them to create a sanctuary where these sacred beings could live with dignity and peace. Starting with a single rescue, they now care for over 600 cows, Nandi, and orphaned calves.
Every recovery at GauNandiSewa is a testament to love and resilience. Lakshmi, a cow rescued from an acid attack, now thrives under our care. Her transformation symbolizes the hope and impact of our sanctuary.
Each day brings new challenges and joys. The arrival of injured gaumata and Nandi is heart-wrenching, but their recovery brings immense joy. Kapil and Arjun’s dedication is evident in the peaceful lives of these once-suffering animals.
Cows like Gauri and Lakshmi, once near death, now graze peacefully, their eyes filled with gratitude. These transformations showcase the profound impact of our care.
Since our inception, GauNandiSewa has saved over 15,000 lives, responding to emergency calls from citizens, police, and government officials. Our swift and dedicated response has made us a beacon of hope in the community.
